I have been reading up on micro moments, those key moment “somethings” that happen while using the phone or computer for more than just killing time. There is a proven growth in sales and consumer acquisition due to capitalizing on these moments and many leading businesses are taking note. Google has coined these precise reasons for engagement, micro moments.
The 4 most common intent-driven moments are to KNOW, GO, DO, or BUY something. When we make a decision to display a helpful graphic or message precisely before or during one of these key moments, the user can more easily make a decision. We are more efficient when efforts to categorize and improve precisely what our apps are used for are practiced.
