Get the Device that you are setting up for the employee (Laptop, Appleyeance, etc)
Set up the device for the employee that is being onboarded:
Install Windows 10 Pro onto it
Create a default user as local admin and save the sign in information for the device in 1password
Create the user's account and make them a local admin on the device
Save the user's account info for later use if they forget the information
Connect the device to the Client Network
Install Datto Client and ConnectWise onto device for monitoring and remote access
Install Office by signing in using the new employee's sign in information.
Once in Office, download all desktop apps (there should be a button for it)
Install Google Chrome and set it as the default browser
OPTIONAL: Install Adobe Acrobat and set as default .PDF viewer(depending on client needs)
Open Outlook and sign in for the employee. Uncheck the box for mobile download.
Set Outlook to default mail app
Pin to taskbar: Google Chrome, Microsoft Outlook
Check Windows updates and perform all updates.
Rename device following the Client naming scheme
Assign an Asset Label
