Why do I get so many emails about my domain name renewal?

Unifeyed will send domain registrants a reminder about domain renewals 30 days prior to renewal/expiration, 15 days, 7 days and 1 day. We do so for a few reasons. Losing a domain due to non-payment can be debilitating for a business. Most registrars do very little to protect registrants from losing domains due to non-payment. We make every effort to remind customers that domains are set to renew. This means that if a customer knows he or she needs to switch out an expired credit card on their account, there is plenty of time to do so. If a customer is paying by check, there is time for that too. Though there is a grace period for us to work on a customer's behalf in order to save an expired domain from being lost forever if payment is not made on time, we try not to let things get to that point.

Another reason for multiple reminders is that most of our customers have their domains set to renew automatically. Should a client wish to let a domain expire because is is no longer needed, we want folks to have ample time to manage that process as well.
