What should I do if my site gets hacked?

Document the issue:  As soon as you feel your site has been hacked, you should write down what you see and document the time and date. 
Contact Support:  You can create a support ticket or email our team at support@unifeyed.com or call our office at 484-947-2800 to alert us to the issue. Our team will do our best to restore a clean back up of your site if one exists. If not, we will work to find the infected files, scan for and remove all malware and get your site back up good as new.

Hackers these days are getting more and more sophisticated in their methods when it comes to compromizing a website. Furthermore, the term "hack" can mean a number of things. Your website may show visible signs of having been hacked (i.e.:  Images or text that you know should not be there). You may notice a number of new users recently created that you were not authorized. Maybe you have even been contacted by customers or vendors that your site is spamming or attacking other sites. 

Utltimately, when a site has been hacked, it is always best that we do everything in our power to get your site back up quickly and safely. We want your site to be safe for you and your clients, vendors and employess to use and we need to make it so your site does not pose a risk to infecting other sites and business systems within and beyond your own business.
